Southsea
The ferry port at Portsmouth is served by several routes and operators. Many are for foot passenger, linking the east and west sides of the Solent, and the Isle of Wight with the mainland. Here the Wightlink 'St Clare', from Fishbourne, IOW, follows 'Bretagne' into port. Crossing behind St Clare is a Hovertravel hovercraft near the end of its journey from Ryde to Southsea.
